She was born in Caracas, Venezuela and moved to the United States at 18 years old to pursue her education in Interior Design. She holds a Bachelor's of Fine Arts Degree in Interior Design with a specialization in Sustainable Design and Historic Preservation from Rocky Mountain College of Arts & Design. She is certified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) and is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).
