Candidate Statement:

Florida South Chapter has over 45 years history of established integrity in promoting the profession of Interior Design. 
If selected as a chapter leader I hope to continue the legacy left behind by our past chapter leaders who's shoes I couldn't possibly fill. 
My goals would include: 

Action Plan

-    Direct dialogue with our chapter membership. Listening to understand how our chapter can better serve as we all navigate our profession through these unprecedented times of the covid-19 pandemic and economy.
-    Work with our board of directors to establish a formal student member scholarship awards program that would provide funding for paid student tuition.

As Communications Director, I would further grow the Task Force established this year to be a diverse team of designers, professionals, and students that cater
to South Florida's unique intergenerational audience. I will ensure effective communication with all Board Members to help grow and maintain the ASID FLS community. 
I would help to create with our Media Partner an effective content strategy that tells the story of our chapter & its people.

Candidate Statement:

To provide value for ASID members who are seeking to develop and enhance their careers through continuing education. This includes providing educational opportunities for designers to meet state mandated requirements for Interior Designer registration and in areas of marketing and self-promotion.

Another key goal is to offer dynamic programs (CEU Courses) in the area of development and personal growth to help designers gain momentum towards success.
